Shortly after the announcement of a whole new token within the Floki ecosystem, the memecoin has released details of a marketing partnership that could supercharge the size of its community.

As announced in a blog post on October 24, popular memecoin, Floki, has formed a strategic partnership with World Table Tennis - one of the most influential organizations in the table tennis sporting world.

The aim of the partnership, which will coincide with the October 27 launch of Floki’s new sister token, is to expose the Floki brand to a whole new audience.

World Table Tennis has been chosen owing to its predominantly young fanbase, of which 75% is aged between 16 and 49. The partnership should allow Floki to reach a staggering 120 million viewers across nearly 200 countries. The partnership will see Floki gain access to 570+ broadcast hours which boast an estimated media value of $10 million.

Floki will gain exposure in the form of “match table LED display, table side A-boards, WTT website brand mark placement, global press releases, and social media posts across global WTT social channels for the WTT Champions Frankfurt 2023 that will take place from October 29, 2023 to November 5, 2023”.

What is especially exciting about the partnership is the potential exposure of the Floki brand to the Asian market. According to the post, the last time the event was broadcast, “WTT events took 9 out of 10 spots for the most watched sports programmes for all sports so far in all of China”.

Floki is furthermore the only cryptocurrency project that WTT has worked with to date, and collaborations began earlier this year.
