SEC Granted Request To Appeal $XRP Ruling

Analisa Torres, the judge responsible for the recent decision on the legal classification of $XRP, has given the green light for the SEC to challenge the landmark ruling made in July. The ruling had stated that Ripple's cryptocurrency was not a security based on past public sales. The SEC's request for an interlocutory appeal, submitted in a letter on August 9, has been accepted.
