Space ID has reached the major milestone of registering more than 300,000 human-readable .bnb domain names from more than 100,000 users.
More than 100,000 users have registered more than 300,000 .bnb domain names using Space ID, a major milestone for the universal name service.
Space ID provides unique and human-readable domain names that can be used to create uniform user identities across blockchains, social media channels, email, etc.
The protocol has received funding from Binance Labs and was named a BNB Chain Project Star in July.
In mid-October, Space ID launched an updated roadmap for the final quarter of 2022 and the entirety of 2023. The final stop on the roadmap includes the launch of the SPACE ID DAO.
In the immediate term, the protocol plans to integrate with top Decentralized Applications (dApps) and projects on BNB Chain, according to the roadmap on Medium. By the end of 2023, the protocol aims to launch a governance body called Space ID DAO.
“SPACE ID is here for the long run, and our journey is most definitely going to be the one you won’t regret,” according to the roadmap.
Space ID is a service that supports domain name registration on the BNB Chain ecosystem. Space ID intends to give users a unique identity for all chains. On Space ID, usernames can be associated with their identities across multiple blockchains. SpaceID will also allow users to connect their identities from the Web2 world, including Twitter, Email addresses, and Github accounts, to Web3.
