Pi Network Announces Fireside Launch 

Pi network continues to innovate and build its ecosystem. The protocol’s core team has launched the “Fireside Forum” platform, an innovative social Web3 platform. 

Fireside Forum integrates tokenomics into social interactions to facilitate authenticity, constructive conversations, and beneficial communication in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) space. Therefore, Pioneers can communicate with one another and earn Pi coins. In simple terms, the platform will reward Pioneers for positive interactions and impede negative ones.  

Pi Network announced the launch on June 1, urging Pioneers to check out the new website and learn more about its features on the official blog publication. 

Pi Network’s Fireside Forum is a brilliant innovation for Pioneers in the crypto space. It is designed to encourage Pioneers to create the best content while providing the necessary tools to manage their online environment. 

With Fireside, Pi Network aims to tackle three facets of Web3, which include ownership and self-sovereignty, distribution and decentralization, and improved social interactions. Its design and tokenomics ensure that all three aspects are tackled to bring a revolutionary social experience for Pioneers in the industry.

What is Pi Network?

Pi Network is a mobile mining blockchain with an application that lets people earn Pi coins by doing simple tasks on their phones. However, the project remains in its development stage with delivery of an open mainnet still a matter of speculation, with no launch date confirmed. 

With this in mind, the protocol remains in its testnet stage and will apparently go live when many users (Pioneers) complete the mandatory KYC procedure while the core team works on developing its ecosystem.

Pi Network is also reported to be under investigation by authorities in Vietnam and users should exercise a high degree of caution when interacting with the project and ensure they have conducted sufficient research before doing so.
