New Solana-Based MMO GameFi Begins

There is a frenzy beginning around the preview launch of the Star Atlas GameFi. Built using the Unreal 5 Nanite gaming engine, it touts itself as a massive multiplayer metaverse game introducing a new blockchain gaming experience by incorporating traditional core game mechanics.

The new gameplay preview allows users to explore the expansive metaverse world. Star Atlas players will eventually be able to trade, obtain and create non-fungible tokens (NFTs) within the game’s metaverse. Star Atlas is one of many games that are preparing for a bright future within the NFT-based blockchain gaming industry.

What is Star Atlas:

Star Atlas is a futuristic play-to-earn MMORPG built on the Solana blockchain. Star Atlas is a grand strategy game of space exploration, territorial conquest, political domination, and living among the stars. It's based in the year 2620, and its developers created it using the Unreal Engine 5. The first of several PC gameplay modules is set for release in late 2022. It's a fantasy game based in a metaverse-style virtual world.
