Core DAO Set to Announce S-Prize Winners of the DeFi Landscape

Core DAO is set to announce the winners of the S-Prize, an event tailored to improve innovation in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and GameFi industry. The first snapshot was taken on May 17th, and now the winners will be unveiled during the 21 Days of Core.

The kickoff event, known as the 7 Days of DeFi, will showcase the winners across various sectors of Core DeFi. As a layer one blockchain, Core aims to revolutionize the future of financial innovation.

In the coming weeks, Core will share updates on the projects and offer a glimpse into what lies ahead. The first S-Prize snapshot rewards the early builders on the Core network, with over 75 projects vying for recognition and 26 emerging victorious.

The snapshot places a spotlight on two crucial sectors: DeFi and Gaming. DeFi is at the core of Core's mission to democratize financial access globally, while Gaming provides a platform for individuals to learn about blockchain technology and develop Web3 skills.

According to the protocol’s tweet on February 13, Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) have dominated the DeFi category, with three remarkable DEXs set to be highlighted in the DeFi category. Additionally, applicants in borrow/lend, derivatives, and others will receive well-deserved prizes.

The announcement of the S-Prize winners marks an exciting milestone for Core DAO and the DeFi community, as it recognizes and encourages innovation in the ever-evolving world of decentralization.
