BNB Chain Launches Hackvolution to Empower Next-Gen dApps with opBNB and BNB Greenfield

Empowering Next-Gen dApps

BNB Chain is hosting a groundbreaking online event, Hackvolution, from July 13 to September 1 to empower next-gen dApps with the potential of opBNB and BNB Greenfield.

The hackathon is open to developers, researchers, and scientists from all over the world. Participants will have the opportunity to leverage technologies such as opBNB and BNB Greenfield to build innovative dApps that push the boundaries of what is possible in Web3.

BNB Chain is encouraging and prioritizing interest in infrastructure-related projects, including:

• opBNB projects using Rust and Erigon.
• Projects focusing on interoperability within BNB Chain, especially tools that focus on BNB Greenfield and opBNB.
• Migration tooling from other Decentralized Storage (e.g., Filecoin, Arweave, Storj).
• Blockchain of Things; projects building an IoT historic or archive on BNB Greenfield.

Participants are also encouraged to bring creativity and reimagine innovations in the categories of DeFi, Gaming, SocialFi, and other dApp initiatives. The hackathon provides a platform to explore and innovate, alongside a vibrant community of like-minded individuals interested in Infrastructure, DeFi, Gaming, or AI.

Exciting prizes and valuable benefits await participants. The top projects will be selected based on technical innovation, business model, and team expertise. Industry leaders such as COMBO, CyberConnect, Hooked Protocol, Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud, and Ultiverse are keen supporters of the event, generously contributing to its realization.

Dorahacks, a global hackathon community dedicated to solving real-world problems with code, has been announced as the partner and main event organizer. Participants will have the chance to win cash prizes, marketing packages, participate in BNB Chain's Gas Grant program, and access discounted tools and services.
