The latest installment in Ben Armstrong and Hit Network’s ongoing saga has seen the former accuse the latter of making death threats, alongside a call to his followers to donate crypto to help fund the influencer’s legal battles.

In a thread recently posted to his new X/Twitter account, which is yet to become verified, Ben Armstrong requested crypto donations from “anyone who has ever benefitted from [his] content”, in order to fund his legal battle to “get BitBoy Crypto back”.

“We filed a lawsuit, Hit Network sent me a death threat which I have the police report for, they agreed to negotiate and I pulled the lawsuit… Then, through my relative, they found out I was filing a lawsuit so they quickly filed a flimsy suit before we could get ours filed”, reads Armstrong’s post.

Armstrong further claimed that he had been the victim of “Blackmail, extortion, public humiliation, death threats, outright lies, and more”. The influencer further stated he has “receipts and proof 100%”.

Armstrong also went as far as to suggest that TJ Shedd would likely face prison time as a result of the saga and legal battle.

“When this is all said and done, TJ Shedd will likely face prison time for executing a full blown conspiracy. And anyone who has backed him will see the truth.”

Armstrong’s Video: “I’ve Been Extorted for my Lamborghini”

In the video included in the thread, Armstrong reiterated many of the above statements. However, he further elaborates on the death threats he had allegedly received.

“Literally told my wife they were gonna put me under the ground - Put me under concrete… I’ve got a recording of it, as well as we have the police report”.

Ethereum Donation Address

Armstrong’s post included an Ethereum wallet address, to which he requested the aforementioned donations.

According to Etherscan, Armstrong’s address holds an ETH balance of more than $56,000 and token holdings equivalent to more than $16,000, at time of writing.

Armstrong also added Bitcoin (BTC) and Cardano (ADA) addresses to the thread:

Community Responds Harshly

Despite the tens of thousands of dollars Armstrong has so far received to his donation address, some members of the cryptocurrency community have proved cynical of his requests and story.

One user further pointed out that a recent video thumbnail, posted by Armstrong, showed him wearing a luxury watch.
