The "Exorcist: Believer" fan experience, powered by Aptos blockchain technology, offers an unparalleled opportunity for fans, moviegoers, and the general public to fully immerse themselves in the dark and haunting universe of "The Exorcist: Believer."
Universal Pictures and Aptos Labs joined hands to introduce an immersive fan experience in connection with the release of Universal's "The Exorcist: Believer."
According to a press release shared with BSC News, this new chapter to the 1973 horror masterpiece is set to open on October 6th. Tickets are now available on Fandango for what is expected to be a spine-chilling cinematic journey.
As of today, fans who purchase a ticket to "The Exorcist: Believer" through Fandango will receive a unique redemption code. They can collect exclusive artwork, view behind-the-scenes footage, and experiment with AR filters to enhance their experience.
As part of this free fan experience, users can also participate in thrilling giveaways featuring Exorcist: Believer-themed prizes that will keep the excitement alive even after the credits roll.
Greg Reed, Vice President of Technology Partnerships at Universal Pictures, shares his perspective on this exciting venture:
"If we plan to create digital collectibles for every movie ticket or product we sell, or for every immersive fan experience, like 'The Exorcist: Believer,' we deliver, we need technology that can handle that scale. Aptos is built to handle the volume and performance to truly, and reliably, change how fans experience movies."
These immersive fan experiences, such as "The Exorcist: Believer," built on Aptos, are powered by Move, a programming language created by former Big Tech engineers. This collaboration marks another milestone for Aptos Labs, which previously partnered with NBCUniversal on a Web3 game for Nicolas Cage's "Renfield" last April.
