Wombat Exchange Updates Community Amid Launch Delays

Wombat Delays Full Launch 

Multi-chain stableswap platform on BNB Chain, Wombat Exchange, announced that its Full launch, Stableswap 2.0, and Initial DEX Offering (IDO) would ensue this June. However, the protocol’s Decentralized Application (dApp) is still in the Beta phase. Following the full launch and IDO delay, Wombat Exchange took to Twitter on June 17 to update users on the current status of its development. 

• The protocol’s Twitter thread disclosed details about users’ frequently asked questions and concerns like rewards distribution, airdrops, and more. 
• While the team urged users to remain patient, Wombat Exchange’s Beta Launch has been solid. 
• The protocol’s Beta development was accelerated through funding from Binance Labs Season 3 Incubation Program. 
• On May 20, Wombat Exchange Beta celebrated $40M in Total Value Locked (TVL). 
• Other notable milestones include its second-place rank in the Binance Incubation grant hosted by DoraHacks, the TeamWombat Festival launch, and the launching of the Bug Bounty program in partnership with Immunefi. 

“Once again, we’d like to apologize for the delay. We’re doubling our efforts in doing what we do best - building! We’re here to play the long game with you, Wombats,” the protocol tweeted. 

Uncertainty remains if StableSwap 2.0 will still go live in June.
