Splinterlands leads the charts by huge numbers across the entire Decentralized Finance space.
Number One Blockchain Game By Active Users
Splinterlands is now the number one game in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) industry by active users on the platform. Additionally, recent statistics show that the GameFi protocol is leading the charts across the entire DeFi space.
The collectible card trading game registered over 403.1K unique user wallets in the last seven days, according to DappRadar. In light of the ground-breaking statistics, Splinterlands took to Twitter to appreciate its community, stating that they contributed to the recent surge.
“We received some pretty exciting news today from @DappRadar and we’re forever grateful to this awesome community for helping us reach this point!” Splinterlands tweeted on 28th September.

The protocol recorded over 15.5M transactions, with a trading volume of $125.1K. The large number of unique wallet addresses interacting with its smart contracts makes Splinterlands the number one Play-to-Earn GameFi protocol. Therefore, other GameFi protocols have a lot of ground to cover if they want to match or overthrow Splinterlands.
What is The Driving Force?
Becoming the most active protocol on DeFi, ahead of other top Play-to-Earn projects and applications generally, is no fluke. DappRadar’s blog on 28th September suggests that the catalyst behind the increase could be the addition of a staking mechanism.
“One cause for the increasing number of users interacting with the platform can be the addition of a staking mechanism to earn VOUCHERS,” DappRadar wrote. “A system designed by the development team to incentivize behavior that they want its community to engage in.”
Splinterlands is not only the leading blockchain game, but it’s also the current number one Decentralized Application (dApp) across all protocols.
DappRadar’s ranking showcases the huge gap between Splinterlands and other protocols, including popular Decentralized Exchange (DEX) PancakeSwap. Can the other protocols rival Splinterlands? Let's keep our fingers crossed.
