Shopify CEO Teases Integration with MetaMask

Shopify Embraces Web 3

It appears as though traditional commerce might well be coming to Web 3 sooner than we may have imagined. 

The CEO of Shopify, Tobi Lütke, has hinted at integration with MetaMask after an impromptu quote tweet on December 9th.

"probably nothing" - tweeted Lütke.

The short video in the tweet appears to show a MetaMask ‘Connect Your Wallet’ feature that has had many excited. While the quote tweet certainly cannot serve as confirmation, it is suggestive enough to muster some excitement. 

Those operating in crypto will be excited by the prospect of attracting traditional commerce and the innumerable people within toward crypto. Another reason to be excited comes clearly in the fact that the many bags you’re currently holding may well be put toward your holiday shopping lists soon enough!
