RealFevr Continues Surge Forward

After a successful launch, RealFevr is preparing the following steps to take on the NFT sports world. The team released a road map to outline their next steps, including a bridge to Ethereum and a listing on UniSwap. The protocol has big plans for the rest of 2021 and into 2022.

CEO Fred Antunes held a Livestream over YouTube on August 27th to discuss all the latest developments from the protocol. Details highlighted by Atunes included the teaser of the next NFT release, which is set to come at the end of September. Beyond football, Antunes hopes the protocol can look beyond just football and explores like e-sports.

“Regarding Fevr token, I want to explore as many business opportunities as possible instead of being just focused on what we have today,” Antunes proclaimed when discussing the future possibilities of the native token. “I’m the guy that’s looking for more business opportunities and as many use cases as possible. Don’t be surprised if you see something a little different from RealFevr soon.”

RealFevr has not settled for just football. As Antunes explains, they will look to grow wherever they can. Antunes mentioned partnerships and sponsorships coming with CryptoSlam as well as events in New York City. Fans should still be excited because the next drop will come with a bigger selection of players as the platform continues to search for the best footballers from around the globe.

Football Still Pays

Footballing is still the bread and butter of RealFevr despite the ambitions shown by Antunes. Before the next NFT drop in late September, the team at RealFevr hopes to implement some upgrades on top of the recent ones.

This past week, the protocol updated their marketplace to V.2 and expected to have a credit card gateway integrated for smoother payments. Antunes recognized the large prices of the most popular NFTs and elaborated on the idea of collective buying to help the non-whale buyers get some action.

When Antunes opened up the floor for questions for the chat, it immediately turned to the star power of players and the accessibility of more leagues. At this time, RealFevr is dominated by Portuguese players because the company is based in Portugal. Antunes promised more European leagues and at least one league from outside of Europe in the next drop.

The team also confirmed that more features would be coming to the fantasy football game, which brought millions of users initially to RealFevr. Fans should also expect to see an NFT play-to-earn game appear in late September as well, potentially before the next NFT drop. Antunes was coy on many dates.

RealFevr is riding the luck that Portugal is home to world-famous footballing names like Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes. As those players prove their value for RealFevr on the NFT marketplace, the protocol will also need to prove itself. More partnerships. More players. But remember that quality trumps quantity.

About RealFevr

RealFevr takes a multipronged approach to football fandom. It started as a fantasy football application in 2015 and has over 2.5 million downloads with 1.2 Million registered users. The protocol is now releasing the first-ever Football Video NFTs Marketplace, powered by Binance Smart Chain. The protocol uses their FEVR$ token as a Web 3.0 gateway to football’s greatest moments. The protocol is also a lending and borrowing protocol for fans to buy, sell, and profit from their collectibles.
