The protocol made several improvements to its products to ensure that Pioneers help accomplish the enclosed mainnet goals with ease.

Accelerating Enclosed Mainnet Goals

Pi Network has released tech and product updates focused on the first quarter of 2023. While revealing the mainnet, ecosystem, and general updates, the core team emphasizes the need for Pioneers to contribute to accelerating enclosed mainnet goals

The mobile mining platform upgraded several products to ensure the enclosed mainnet goals are accomplished. Pi Network shared the updates with Pioneers based on two major categories, Ecosystem and App Building & Mainnet and General Updates.

On Ecosystem and App building, the protocol developed the Testnet Ecosystem, App to User Payment feature, Developer Wallets, Brainstorm Application, and the Pi Open Source (PiOS) software. On the other hand, the Mainnet and General updates include the development of Post Migration Lockups, Pi Chat Migration, Pi Website revamp, improvements to the User Interface, and more, plus improvements to translation within the Pi application.

With these upgrades and improvements, Pi Network wants Pioneers to experience a unique ecosystem integrated with the Pi currency through which both they and developers can benefit. For more extensive information about the various upgrades, read the Pi Network blog

What is Pi Network?

Pi Network is a mobile mining blockchain with an application that lets people earn Pi coins by doing simple tasks on their phones. However, the project remains in its development stage with delivery of an open mainnet still a matter of speculation, with no launch date confirmed.

With this in mind, the protocol remains in its testnet stage and will apparently go live when many users (Pioneers) complete the mandatory KYC procedure while the core team works on developing its ecosystem.

Pi Network is also reported to be under investigation by authorities in Vietnam and users should exercise a high degree of caution when interacting with the project and ensure they have conducted sufficient research before doing so.
