Floki Inu will be enjoying this weekend’s Formula One Miami Grand Prix, after tying up their partnership with Alfa Romeo. 

The initial announcement of the exciting partnership was revealed on February 24 on Floki Inu’s Medium, and the hugely popular memecoin will finally get a chance to show off their new partnership as Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas lines up in the fifth position for Sunday’s race after an impressive qualifying campaign. With Miami touted as a crypto hotspot, this race weekend has been particularly exciting for the project.  

With more than 400 million viewers, according to the New York Post, Formula One retains an astounding following that will have a significant impact on Floki Inu’s already growing community. The partnership will mean that Floki Inu will be advertised on Alfa Romeo’s F1 car and will also sponsor Alfa Romeo’s Esports team. The significant partnership keeps with Floki Inu’s huge marketing push that has already seen them secure several partnerships. 

“Floki’s distinctive branding will feature on rear end wing plates of both Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN cars for the full 2022 season. Floki will also be a sponsor of Alfa Romeo’s championship winning esports team,” the team behind Alfa Romeo F1, Sauber Motorsport AG stated in the initial announcement. “The partnership continues Floki’s global promotion that has seen the brand being heavily advertised around the world in mainstream media, international transport networks, and with many of the world’s top football clubs, including Napoli, Bayer Leverkusen, Spartak Moscow, and Fenerbache.”

With Formula One enjoying a further revival in popularity from Netflix’s hugely popular ‘Drive to Survive’ series, the crypto project may well be in for even further exposure. This is not to diminish Formula One’s already considerable following, the sport is broadcast to 170 territories with an average TV viewership of 87 million per race and a cumulative audience of 1.5 billion people. The season of races spans 22 countries and five continents, making Formula 1 a truly global sport.

  • Floki Inu’s branding will feature on rear end wing plates of both Alfa Romeo Formula 1 Team ORLEN cars for the full 2022 season, with a record 23 rounds from March until November anticipated to reach an incredible 1.5 billion people. 
  • With Guanyu Zhou making his Formula 1 debut in 2022 as the first-ever Chinese driver in Formula 1 alongside Valtteri Bottas, it is going to be an amazing breakout season for the sport- and maybe for the crypto project too!
