The First Video NFT for Football

The first-ever football video Non-Fungible Token (NFT) marketplace has arrived. RealFevr is set to launch its first group of Basic Packs.

All the NFTs will be backed by intellectual property, so there is a huge chance that users can score a valuable NFT video.

NFTs are tokens that represent digital assets, in this case clips of incredible football players. The platform hopes to get the video NFT marketplace ready for major moves.

The CEO of RealFevr, Fred Antunes, joined BSC.News for an AMA on our Telegram, on 14 July. Antunes answered a variety of questions and boosted excitement for the project. Antunes explained how the NFTs offered will come from real game footage.

RealFevr will use blockchain to promote the beautiful onfield “art” produced by the players with their movements and goals. The platform will function similarly to NBA TopShot, only for football.

When Will the NFTs Drop?

The first packs will drop next week on July 22. The prices of each NFT will be decided through the market. The prices will be indexed to the USD, and the platform will use its FEVR$ token as the currency for exchange.

Basic Packs Full of Star Power

The BASIC packs will include three NFTs. The first two are guaranteed to be Common, while the third will either be Common, Special, Epic, Legendary or Unique. The first drop will have 73 moments distributed in five different tiers. There will be a total of 251,201 NFTs in the first drop.

As RealFevr is a Portuguese-based protocol, the list hosts many Portuguese players. However, users can expect a star-studded list of international footballers.

The NFTs will include the likes of 5-time Balon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo as well as Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes and Colombian James Rodriguez. The packs will also contain retired players like two-time Champions League winner Deco

NFT Details

The NFTs will come in five different tiers (Common, Special, Epic, Legendary, and Unique). The protocol has plans to launch more NFTs after the first drop.

Scarcity is what makes NFTs more valuable, and the packs will contain NFTs of increasing value. The future launches will have more scarce collectibles in the form of Rare and Super Rare NFTs

The Rare NFT Packs will have four NFTs, where the first is common. The second will be either Common or Special, while the third will be chosen from either Common, Special, Epic, Legendary or Unique. The fourth NFT is guaranteed to be either Special, Epic, Legendary or Unique.

The Super Rare packs are similar to the Rare Packs. Two NFTs in this pack will be either common or special. The third will be either Common, Special, Epic, Legendary or Unique.  The fourth and fifth are guaranteed to be either Special, Epic, Legendary or Unique.

The drops will become deflationary with a reduced number of impressions over time. There will be a total of 5000 Common NFTs, and the Unique tokens will be one of a kind. Currently, there is only a teaser video for what the NFTs might appear.

Open Invitation to Clubs

The protocol has an open invitation to all clubs in the world to integrate with their platform. Antunes explained in the AMA how there is no cost for clubs to deploy their content on the platform.

The CEO and the RealFevr team believe in the power of decentralization and understand that many clubs around the world are facing difficult financial situations in these pandemic times. With little to no barrier of entry, the protocol is a place for clubs to start earning revenue upon the favorite video memories of fans.
