NodeReal, Cocos-BCX to Build First Game-Focused Optimistic Rollup on BNB Chain

Boost for 1.6M Cocos Gaming Developers

NodeReal and Cocos-BCX announced a partnership to build the first Optimistic rollup on BNB Chain focused on gaming. The move will benefit more than 1.6 million Cocos Web3 game developers and 1.6 billion end users.

The new Layer-2 chain built on Optimism Stack will include the following:

• Developer tool kits
• Up to 10,000 Transactions Per Second and low gas fees
• Integration with decentralized storage solutions such as BNB Greenfield, Arweave or Storj
• Modular frameworks to ensure scalability.

NodeReal is a Web3 infrastructure service provider, while Cocos-BCX is a provider of scaling solutions for blockchain games.

“We're delighted to partner with NodeReal, and by combining their solid technical blockchain expertise with Cocos-BCX's experience in the gaming industry, we are becoming a core driving force for achieving mass adoption of Web3 games,” Cocos-BCX Partner Bob Co said in a blog post.

Once the BNB Chain rollup is complete, the plan is to expand to Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible networks like Ethereum, Polygon and more.
