Mines of Dalarnia Gives Users Chance to Design Game Characters

‘Mysterious and Spooky’ Fun for the Community

‍Mines of Dalarnia has launched a contest where three users will have their Halloween-themed concept art implemented into the blockchain game as character skins.

“Everyone can participate and contribute to the development of the game. It is possible for the community to share their vision of the game and create something they would want to see in the MOD game. So the theme is Halloween, mysterious and spooky. 10 places with $DAR and other prizes for grabs,” the Marketing Lead of the Project, Stormy, told BSC News.

The Skin Miner Concept Art Contest Volume 1: Halloween 2022 began Aug. 1 and ends Sept. 20.

This is the first campaign in Mines of Dalarnia's concept art competition series to bring the community closer by getting them involved in the game’s development.

The contest gives users the chance to create a skin for Mines of Dalarnia's in-game character during the Halloween event to be launched in October. After the registration period ends, 10 entries will be selected by the Mines of Dalarnia team. 

Of the 10 finalists, the community will vote to choose the winners. The top three entries will have their concept art turned into a “Limited Edition Armor Skin NFT” and placed on the game’s marketplace. (Each of the top three will receive one of those NFTs for free.)

The winners and seven other finalists will also receive DAR tokens and mining passes.

Built in 2021, Mines of Dalarnia first appeared on Chromia and launched its mainnet on BNB Chain in April 2022.
