EX Sports Brings Street Football Ecosystem to Web3 With Urbanball

A Unique NFT Collection

Featuring 'Belgium Edition' Non-fungible Token (NFTs), Urbanball is releasing its second drop on Binance NFTs in partnership with EX Sports, following the success of its first drop.

As announced on June 20, the NFTs will be distributed in randomized mystery boxes featuring street football champions from Brussels and Antwerp. A total of 10,000 NFTs will be minted, and each Mystery Box will cost $25, a 50% reduction over the first release. The NFT collection is currently live on the Binance NFT marketplace. 

There will be either a character or skill card NFT in each mystery box, both of which are required to participate in the upcoming Urbanball play-to-earn game. 

Character cards depict real-life street football players who won Urbanball 1v1 'fightball' tournaments in their home countries to earn their places in the game. A Skill card contains a combination of different football techniques that can be used to enhance your character's performance.

With Urbanball's play-to-earn game, players can compete in both PVP and PVE modes, earning rewards that can be redeemed for actual experiences. The NFTs are digital collectibles that have real utility outside the game. 

Through a unique revenue model, a large portion of every primary sale goes to athletes, which helps develop their careers. In addition, rare NFT holders receive exclusive rewards, such as meet-and-greets with athletes. 

BSC News reached out to EX Sports to learn more about the recent release, but we didn’t get a reply.
