The tokenomics data is manually compiled, starting with 100 tokens.
Crypto analytics aggregator CoinGecko has implemented a new Tokenomics analytics tab on its website to assist degen crypto investors in their analysis. The tab is located below the “Socials” segment on a coin's page and displays the details of the coin's tokenomics, such as supply schedule and token allocation.
CoinGecko tweeted on Aug. 15 to notify its users about the new feature. The platform, which manually compiles the tokenomics data for each cryptocurrency, launched the feature with initial support for 100 tokens. The list of supported tokens will be updated based on requests from the community.
Investors can analyze tokenomics information to assess how sustainable a project might be based on inflation and to try to predict potential fluctuations in price based on factors such as vesting and emissions schedules.
The new feature is currently available on CoinGecko's website, but the platform is considering deploying it on its mobile app soon.
Here is the list of tokens for which the new Tokenomics tab is available. If you want CoinGecko to include support for any token, submit a request here..
