ApeSwap Announces Stage 2 DEX Upgrade & More

New Upgrade, New Utility

Multi-chain Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocol ApeSwap is set to unveil the Stage 2 upgrade of its Decentralized Exchange (DEX), including a smart router for multi-chain swaps across BNB Chain, Ethereum and Polygon networks.

ApeSwap Co-Founder Obie Dobo told BSCNews he is confident the Smart router feature would be well-received by users:

"I believe that our new Smart Router has the potential to be the most impactful feature release in ApeSwap's history. It will allow users to swap nearly any token that has liquidity on any given chain. We'll be rolling this out with our three current chains; BNB Chain, Polygon, and Ethereum. If we see the degree of success that we're expecting, there's a high chance we'll scale this model to more and more chains in Q3," he said.

ApeSwap launched the first phase of its DEX upgrade on June 30. The first phase introduced a novel swap routing mechanism that enables users to earn bonuses for their swaps. In a tweet on July 15, the platform announced that the second phase of its DEX upgrade will go live on July 19.

The DEX upgrades are aimed at enhancing users' trading experience, according to ApeSwap's recent Medium post about the latest upgrade. 

The ApeSwap team is constantly building and is already thinking beyond the Stage 2 upgrade. Obie Dobo gave an exclusive tease about the next set of cool features already being developed for the ApeSwap community:

"For our next major release, we've been cooking up an 'ApeSwap Pro' platform to accommodate more advanced traders, offering features like charting, futures, and leverage. It will be separate in the sense that it doesn't use ApeSwap Liquidity & a different user interface, but very exciting nonetheless!" he said.
